Every entry here is a public commitment. The 'not doing' list is a trust asset — it tells you what temptations we have already declined.

Maintained

Shipping now, reviewed on the maintenance cadence.

  • Version 1.0 (Founder's Edition) — twelve handbooks, three packets, field guides.
  • Annual review cadence, quarterly print-QA, monthly drift review.
  • Correction log, Trust Ledger, Citation Registry.
  • Publication IDs and colophons on every leaf.
  • Public archive of prior editions and pivots.

Under consideration

Candidates for V1.1 and beyond. Ordered by likelihood, not date.

  • V1.1 — accessibility deepening; keyboard, focus, screen-reader pass.
  • Localization — Spanish edition of the Hearing Survival Card first.
  • Community submissions — via the corrections flow, not a form.
  • Community Impact Series Volumes 2–10.
  • Institution adoption program — Library / Teacher / Church / HOA / County / Research editions.
  • Annual State of the Community Report (first issue December 2026).
  • Civic Almanac — monthly reference cards.

Explicitly not doing

A civic publication earns trust by having a spine. This list is not a wish list of things we lack the resources for; it is a list of things we have decided against on principle.

  • User accounts. Local-only storage is the standard.
  • Analytics or reader tracking beyond privacy-preserving aggregate counts.
  • Ad revenue of any kind.
  • Content opposing individual projects.
  • Forums, comment sections, or social features.
  • Push notifications.
  • Urgency marketing or dark patterns.
  • Infinite scrolling feeds.
  • AI-generated editorial content.
  • Marketing newsletters. Transactional email only.
  • A public API — under consideration only 'if ever.'

The roadmap is reviewed at every edition ceremony. Between ceremonies, it is frozen (Bylaw 42).
