Neighborhood Starter Kit.
A free five-page printable for the first three neighbors on a block. Print five copies. Hand them out. The block is now prepared together.
What's inside
Five pages, one each.
Page 1 — What we just learned
A fill-in summary of the project. Date, address, what was proposed, the next decision, the next deadline.
Page 2 — Three doors
Names of three nearby neighbors, what each is willing to do (attend, write, photograph, host).
Page 3 — Our next meeting
Date, place, agenda. A 45-minute kitchen-table format works best.
Page 4 — Our shared questions
The five questions we will all ask, in writing, in the same words.
Page 5 — Who is contacting whom
An assignment grid so no office is called five times by accident.
How to use it.
Print five copies. Keep one. Hand four to nearby neighbors. Write a meeting date on Page 3 before you knock. The kit is designed for a ten-minute kitchen-table conversation, not a presentation.
Bring the completed kit to the meeting in the Kitchen-Table Meeting packet. Keep the original. The group keeps the copies.
